Volunteers Needed

Park & Community Activities

Woodland Volunteers
All ages are welcome to join seasonal volunteer days (check the Calendar of Events) or call to inquire about bringing a group of volunteers to help in the park. We are just beginning a last Saturday of the month woodland volunteer team working from 10-1. You'll get to know a great group of dedicated park folks, have fun together, learn a lot, and help save the park's forest. Let us know if you're interested! email - lanae@franklinparkcoalition.org

Community Outreach Volunteers
Do you live near the park? Regularly attend a community or neighborhood meeting? FPC staff can't go to every meeting in all four neighborhoods around the park. Please volunteer to announce Franklin Park activities, get input from participants about their park experiences, and be a liaison for FPC to your community group.

Administrative Activities

Office Volunteers
Come to our cheerful office at Lena Park CDC on American Legion Highway. There's lots to do. You can answer phones, help with mailings, organize historical information, make calls for park activities - there's always something that needs doing.

Website & Database Volunteers
We need volunteers to provide technical assistance for our website improvements.  You should know HTML, CSS, Flash, and other web-related programs. To learn more or offer your services, contact webmaster@franklinparkcoalition.org.

FPC has just switched to using Filemaker to keep track of its mailing list. We're hoping to upgrade our data collection to track who's involved in volunteer days and other activities, as well as stay more in touch with members. If you have experience doing any of this or have a little time, please come help!
